Our university's Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin GÖKTAŞ, issued a message on the occasion of December 3rd, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In his message, Rector Prof. Dr. GÖKTAŞ stated:
"On the occasion of the 3rd of December, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, I would like to once again emphasize that individuals with disabilities should be remembered not only today but every day, and that they should receive the support they deserve. As a university, while carrying out our educational, teaching, and research activities, we aim to enhance the quality of life of individuals with disabilities in line with our social responsibilities and help them adapt to university life in the best way possible. In this regard, we have implemented many arrangements to improve accessibility on our campus, and we are making determined progress towards becoming an 'Accessible University.'
On this occasion, I sincerely congratulate our disabled staff, students with disabilities, and all individuals with disabilities, and I wish them and their families a healthy, happy, and peaceful life."
